May is High Blood Pressure Education Month

Blood pressure that is slightly higher than normal is called prehypertension—28% of American adults have prehypertension. People with prehypertension are more likely to develop high blood pressure than are people with normal blood pressure levels.  To find out your blood pressure, pick up a monitor at our pharmacy or talk with your general doctor. Educate yourself more about high blood pressure and how to prevent and control it.
